The Trust makes grants on an annual basis to Junior Honours students and to postgraduate taught-course students in Social Anthropology at the University of St Andrews to enable them to undertake fieldwork or other research (e.g. library or archival) for their dissertations or review essays. An External Assessor appointed by the Trust assists the Trustees in the awarding of these grants.
